The Taj Falaknuma Palace Elite Experience
The Taj Falaknuma Palace, built entirely of Lime stone and mortar, still breathes a sense of Renaissance royalty through the colonnaded verandah, while the pearl white edifice glows golden with the setting sun. Adding to its grandeur, the Nizam brought back rare furniture, manuscripts and books from countries around the world that are still part of the Palace's treasures. The library, known to have had one of the finest collections of the holy Quran in India, is a replica of the one at Windsor Castle. The interiors are adorned with large Venetian chandeliers, a grand marble staircase, priceless marble statues, figurines, objects' d'art, coloured glass trinkets, stained-glass windows, portraits and paintings in heavy ornate frames and a crystal collection that glistens like a starry night sky. Such splendour is an enchanting sight, just like a beautiful moonlit starry night sky.
Laid out in the shape of a scorpion, the Pincer of the scorpion house three historical suites. The head of the palace is where the Main Palace is located while the belly of the scorpion houses the guest rooms and the tail and sting of the palace hose the Dining rooms and the Gol Bungalow.
